Introduction to Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center
Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Shenzhen World in English) is a major project invested and constructed by the Shenzhen Municipal Government. It is constructed and operated by the China Merchants Shekou and Overseas Chinese Town consortium. It is a collection of exhibitions, conferences, activities (events, performing arts etc.), catering, and commerce are integrated into a super-large exhibition complex.
The first phase of the exhibition hall project started construction in September 2016, was fully completed in September 2019, and was officially opened in November. The exhibition hall is jointly operated and managed by Shenzhen Zhaohua International Convention and Exhibition Operations Co., Ltd. (jointly established by China Merchants Shekou and OCT) and the American ASM GLOBAL company, one of the world's three largest venue operators.
