ECHO Magnet Services B.V. is a Dutch MRI specialist based in Helmond, the Netherlands. For 28 years the company has been designing and manufacturing MRI service tools, operating a European cold and warm storage facility for complete MRI systems, and delivering end-to-end magnet services - installation, de-installation, relocation, ramping, cooling and cryogenic support - to hospitals, imaging centres and independent service organisations on six continents.
Who we are
ECHO Magnet Services was built by field engineers, not by a trading desk. Electronics engineering background, 28 years of MRI field service and a deep understanding of what actually happens inside a magnet room shaped every product and every procedure the company offers today. The team supports B2B customers only: MRI service companies, OEM partners, and healthcare facilities that operate their own imaging equipment.
From the Helmond facility ECHO handles the whole lifecycle of a magnet. That includes system evaluation before a purchase, secure de-installation and rigging, transportation, cold or warm storage, cryogenic part replacement, helium recovery, repairs, and professional reinstallation and ramping at the final site. Because the same team plans, executes and documents each stage, projects stay predictable and downtime stays short.
The Voyager magnet power supply
Voyager is a multivendor magnet power supply developed by ECHO that replaces a rack of OEM-specific ramp tools with one universal unit. Built around a 10 kW industrial supply delivering up to 1000 A at 10 V, Voyager brings automation, remote operation and safety protection into routine ramp-up and ramp-down work.

Repeatable frequency control with less manual intervention and fewer operator errors.
The Voyager kit ships in a transport case with positive and negative ramp cables, pressure sense hose, power and step-up transformer cables, magnet heater cables and voltage sense cables for GE, Philips, Siemens and Canon magnets, plus rigid ramp probes and converters. Diagnostics, transportation test software and a field replaceable unit architecture allow maintenance without shipping the unit back.
