Accellta offers a range of revolutionary solutions for better affordability and quality of stem cell culturing for custom-made process development, clinical and R&D applications. Our novel technology offers carrier free suspension culture for PSCs. Accellta's technologies are the result of over 20 years of pioneering research and development at the Stem Cell Center in the Technion’s Rappaport Faculty of Medicine.

The Power of microcarrier-free suspension culture
Traditional pluripotent stem cells are grown as adherent culture, with limited and expensive scalability. Accellta’s proprietary disruptive technology is a platform enabling novel solution for industrialization of stem cells and their derivatives based on high cell concentrations in dynamic culture without microcarriers. Therefore, enables cost-effective mass production of stem cells for clinical applications, regenerative medicine, cell banking and R&D applications. Accellta’s suspension culture can be applied as Maxells or as Single cell suspension on both embryonic and induced pluripotent stem cells and several progenitors or fully differentiated cells (e.g., MSCs, Neural progenitor cells, CMs).

Manufacturing Facility

Accellta operates a fully equipped top-tier manufacturing facility designed according to GMP guidelines for industrial manufacturing of cells. The facility includes over 550 sqm of clean room (88 sqm), QC laboratories, research laboratories and offices located at the Technion in Haifa, Israel.

Accellta’s facility is the company main production site, it has the highest technological and methodological standards in the fields of various cells and related cell products.

Unique to the industry, Accellta's hybrid model allows partners/customers to execute manufacturing activities without the need for facility ownership or reliance on contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs).
